Wow, that's a long 4 months since I last blogged. Hehe, well yeah same old excuse... I was busy with work. As some of you might know, I moved from my previous work in fFurious to Qais Consulting. Things are quite fast paced there and it's definitely challenging but at times tiring. But it's alright... I'm just thankful to have an awesome job still and be in the company of some of the best in the industry.
Off to what I'm supposed to talk about tonight... which is brunch. I have been going to a couple of Brunch places here in Singapore and I'm quite surprised by the variety of food and service of these brunch places. Three of the nicest ones I've been to are:
1.
Mykii - Holland Village
3.
Spruce - Tanglin road, Phoenix park
Both Spruce and PS Cafe wins the best alfresco dining and ambiance for me - very cozy and close to nature kind of feel even on a crowded Sunday afternoon. Mykii is indoor and have a very charming Greek look minus the cute angmo kids running around.

Foor food, PS Cafe's amazing Portobello stack wins the best brunch dish haha. Mykii's wide variety of dishes and pasta are also very pleasing to palette.
Mykii's lovely Fettuccine Aglio Olio
On the other hand, Spruce's breakfast selection was limited and was the ordinary British / Continental types. I was surprised to see Pork and beans served as a side dish on my slightly expensive breakfast.. they're not really my type and always thought it's a easy dish to fill up a breakfast entree.
My friend's Steak dish was a different story. The beef looked really tender and juicy and was served on a generous amount.
I will definitely get this for myself next time. Anyway, food has been great here in Singapore and it's always exciting to visit new places and try out new cuisines. It just makes weekends a lot more enjoyable especially when shared with friends.
I hope Singapore puts up a good brunch website soon. If there's none, maybe I can make some time and do it myself and make it as an excuse to try more and more brunch places haha.
Have an awesome week everyone! :)
